The Hawthorne studies were performed by Western Electric in Hawthorne in the 1920’s The results were that the people in the experiment believed that management cared about them. Thus by having your employees participate in anything you perform, the Hawthorne effects say the employees will believe you care more about them then without inclusion. To motivate employees include them as part of the solution and then you will get a better response illustrating that you care .
